ECCO SAFE 4.0
The ECCO Safe 4.0 is a pneumatically operated automatic tensioner build for fast and secure cargo securing—especially in timber transport. Even in the event of air pressure loss, manual operation remains possible at all times.
In addition to improving safety during lashing, the tensioner also eliminates the need for time-consuming re-tensioning during transport.
Thanks to its protected, anodized aluminum housing with stainless steel components, the tensioner is highly durable and resistant to external influences. The protective housing can be replaced quickly and easily with just a few screws.
The dual-drum system allows for the use of either a strap or chain, and it comes standard with a 9-meter textile strap (2,500 daN).
The tensioner, with its moving components, features a two-part aluminum housing (a – shaft drive, b – valve control) to reduce weight.
All direct drive components such as cams and gears are made of hardened steel. The connectors are plug-and-play, and the internal air routing is implemented using KU-PA tubing. Depending on their position, function, and material, fasteners are made of zinc-plated steel, stainless steel (V2A), or coated with a zinc-flake finish.
The ECCO Safe 4.0 tensioner accommodates a shaft with drum on both sides. Its unique Duo Drum is multifunctional, compatible with either strap or chain. It comes standard with a 9-meter textile strap (2,500 daN), featuring a reinforced bolt loop with delta bracket (2,500 daN) on one end and a 300 mm loop on the other.
The strap can be replaced with a 6 mm short-link chain (DIN 12195-3:2021 compliant).
The start and spacer discs of the drum are made of stainless steel with reinforced flanges for high stability.
The shaft is available in various lengths and can be mounted tool-free using a V2A quick-release ball pin. The long, ergonomic stainless steel handle is rotatable for ease of use.
